Starting in 2024, Parent Councils, as well as Schools and Kindergartens, can receive 1.5% of taxpayers' income tax for their institutions through the AVE Foundation, a public benefit organization.
This initiative aims to support the educational and developmental activities of schools and increase the involvement of Parent Councils in shaping educational offerings and addressing the needs of educational institutions.
We invite both Schools, Kindergartens, and Parent Councils that have previously participated in the program and those that are joining for the first time.
Interested Parent Councils (or School Administrations) should contact the AVE Foundation via email as soon as possible (the collection of 1.5% tax donations officially begins on January 1, 2025, and lasts until April 30, 2025): biuro@fundacjaave.pl.
Please provide the following details:
Name and address of the school
Name, email, and phone number of the person coordinating the initiative on behalf of the Parent Council/School
Registered Parent Councils/Schools will receive an email with a cooperation agreement template from the AVE Foundation, outlining the terms of collaboration. A scanned copy of the signed agreement should be emailed back to the Foundation. Once signed by the Foundation’s authorities, it will be returned to the school.
The agreement includes the following key principles:
Donors of the 1.5% tax contribution should enter the AVE Foundation’s KRS number – 0000229157 in the appropriate section of their 2024 tax return. In the "Specific Purpose" field, they should write the school number and city (e.g., SP 560, Warsaw).
75% of the collected funds go to the Parent Council, while 25% is allocated for the organizational and financial management of the program and the AVE Foundation’s educational and development activities.
If the agreement is signed by a Parent Council, we encourage passing a resolution on cooperation with the AVE Foundation and signing the agreement.
In October/November 2025, once the AVE Foundation receives official information from the Tax Office regarding the amount of collected 1.5% tax contributions, the Foundation will inform each Parent Council/School about the funds received.
The Parent Council/School must then send the AVE Foundation a scanned resolution specifying how the funds will be used (e.g., purchasing a multimedia board, subsidizing school trips, funding school meals, etc.). Upon receiving this resolution, the AVE Foundation will transfer the funds as a donation to the specified school bank account.
